Is it realistic to go all the way to 40 by just doing pvp?
It’s very realistic to lvl to 40 by simply doing RvR. How fast you get there though, really depends on the amount of action happening. This should be impacted greatly with the upcoming server transfers.
In t1 i cant find anybody to fight in the RVR zone. Is it always like this and is it the same in later teirs?
With the transfers coming, I have to believe that all the tiers should pick up. Right now, your server’s one of the low pop servers that’re getting merged. Transfer your toons tomorrow, and check it out again. With a flood of new people, there should be a flood of rvr that follows.
Is the gear you get from RVR better than pve gear?
Athrazan hit the nail on the head. The RvR is far superior to the pve gear right now. Not only are the stats a LOT better, but most every piece has a talisman slot or two attached to it, allowing even further enhancements. The key is to hone in on which stats you really want to beef, and build your gear around that. There are some pieces of PvE gear that will better serve you at the lower tiers. Keep that in mind before you start buying gear that you don’t really need.
